She Snaps Photography "Seeing Fairfield" CONTEST

She Snaps Photography "Seeing Fairfield" CONTEST   -   Photograph #2

You may see this as the perfect opportunity to stretch out like a cat on your back, belly up, eyes closed feeling the cool breeze across your face. This is nice. I can understand that moment and it's pure and true. Others may simply krisscross-apple sauce with a book in hand, distracted at times by the occasional splash of a frisky bird barely skimming the waters surface.

There will be a few who see this in an entirely different way, creating jittery anticipation deep within their soul. They want to jump. They want to feel the wonder and conquer the fear. If indeed this is your desire and you find yourself in this moment, be sure to back up first. Start from the grass and run with a force. Run like the wind before catapulting yourself in. For in choosing this path, if you dare to live it fully, be sure to make a spectacular splash.

This photograph is the second of twenty that I shall post. I cannot reveal where in Fairfield this is, nor can I tell you what it is. For those who decide to play, please find the answer (what it is and the location within Fairfield) and post it on my blog. For the first correct answer of each photograph I will give you that photograph in an 8x10 matted print.  I will also give you 20% off of your personal photo shoot with She Snaps Photography.

The "Seeing Fairfield" exhibit by She Snaps Photography, consisting of twenty photographs will be displayed in a local shop here in Fairfield this upcoming summer. Be the first to own these photographs by participating in the contest. She Snaps Photography "Seeing Fairfield" CONTEST

She Snaps Photography "Seeing Fairfield" CONTEST   -   Photograph #1

This old beauty resides in the charming New England town of Fairfield, Connecticut. Graceful, subtle, yet exquisite in structure and beauty, the image is a true reflection of the town itself. It shines like a star for all to see, if indeed, one chooses to see.

This photograph is the first of twenty that I shall post. I cannot reveal where in Fairfield this structure is, nor can I tell you its name. For those who decide to play, please find the answer (what it is and the location within Fairfield) and post it on my blog. For the first correct answer of each photograph I will give you that photograph in an 8x10 matted print.  I will also give you 20% off of your personal photo shoot with She Snaps Photography.

"Love" by She Snaps Photography

Love
A child holding a warm mug of hot chocolate. A gently placed hand on the back of another.
A smile of appreciation. This Valentine photo shoot was a clear declaration of
love...

"Oh Summer Days, Oh Childhood" by She Snaps Photography

It squirms between your toes and watching it flip flop beneath the murky waters creates goose bumps all over your tiny body. A splash from another sends you shrieking and leaping slow motion water steps away from danger. Fleeing from the sea creature you're convinced has strategically landed on your shoulder.

You make it back to land, plop down on your sandy blanket doubled in laughter feeling both lucky and clever for escaping the close encounter. The burn of sun on your shoulders and tightness of sea salt on your face.  Oh summer days, oh childhood...

"best friends" by She Snaps Photography

They know each other well.

These three women share bonds which take them back to elementary school.  Jungle gyms and daisy picking on playground fields. Tear drops and plenty of hugs from family dramas. Puffy dresses, lipstick and millions of curlers in anticipation of "first kisses and first dances."

A close friend of mine once shared a message with me. He said, "sometimes all that you have is history and that may be enough."  The moments we spend together each and every day with people we love are the seeds of our history, our savored memories. The memories that bond us. The memories that make us one with our friends and keep us climbing those jungle gyms forever and ever...
